RUBBERBAND Coming to Weis Center

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome Contemporary Dance ensemble RUBBERBAND and their work “Ever So Slightly” on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center. There will be a pre-performance talk with Artistic Director Victor Quijada from 6:45-7:15 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium. The performance is sponsored, in part, by Gary and Sandy Sojka, with additional support provided by the Québec Government Office in New York. Award-Winning Jazz Saxophonist Coming to Weis Center

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome award-winning jazz saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin Quartet on Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center. There will be a pre-performance talk with the artist from 6:45-7:15 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium. The performance is sponsored, in part, by the Centre Daily Times. Weis Center Hosts Two Outdoor Cirque Performances – on a Food Truck!

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will host an eclectic and quirky contemporary cirque ensemble, Cirque Kikasse, on Saturday, October 19 at 12 noon and 4 p.m. The performances will take place in the Pascucci Family Athletics Complex Parking Lot (behind the Weis Center). Any performance changes due to inclement weather will be announced on the Weis Center’s social media and website. The performances are free and tickets are not required.
