Weis Center Sessions #28: Maren Snow, “Please Come Home for Christmas” (Guitar, Vocals)

Today, we feature Maren Snow performing a holiday classic, “Please Come Home for Christmas.” Maren is the daughter of Judy Grisel (Professor of Psychology at Bucknell) and Jimmy Snow. Weis Center Sessions #26: Joe Scapellato, “One of the Days I Nearly Died” (Reading)

Welcome to our 26th installment of Weis Center Sessions! Each Friday, we release a video that features a member of the Bucknell University community. Today, we feature Joe Scapellato reading “One of the Days I Nearly Died,” from Big Lonesome. Joseph Scapellato is the author of the novel, The Made-Up Man, and the story collection, Big Lonesome. He earned his MFA in Fiction at New Mexico State University and teaches at Bucknell as an assistant professor in the English Department. Weis Center Sessions #25: Benae Beamon (Tap Dance)

Today, we feature a tap dance performance by Professor Benae Beamon. Benae Beamon is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Bucknell. Weis Center Sessions #24: Clair de Lune, performed by Chiara Evans ’21 and Clare Merante ’21 (dance)

Welcome to our 24th installment of Weis Center Sessions. Each Friday, we release a video that features a member of the Bucknell community. This week, we feature Bucknell students Chiara Evans ’21 and Clare Merante ’21 in a dance piece choreographed by Professor Er-Dong (Tony) Hu.    The title of the piece is “Clair de Lune” or “Moonlight” from Debussy’s Suite bergamasque.
