The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will present chamber music ensemble Camerata RCO on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center. Weis Center Presents Two Irish Ensembles in March
The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will present two Irish ensembles in March: Danu on Friday, March 3 and Trinity Irish Dance Company on Friday, March 24; both performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall. Performance Review: Step Afrika!
To kick off the Weis Center’s Spring 2023 season, Step Afrika!, a traditional stepping company, brought a lively, energetic performance that dazzled audience members of all ages. Beginning with the pre-show talk allowed spectators to gain a better understanding of the traditions of the performance they were about to see. This talk also emphasized the artform’s roots in the community of traditional African American fraternities and sororities. Free Weis Center Tickets for Bucknell Students during Spring Semester
In order to encourage Bucknell University student engagement, tickets to performances on the Weis Center’s Spring 2023 Season will be free of charge. By presenting their BUID at the Weis Center Campus Box Office counter, students can receive one free ticket to the performance. The box office is open from Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and one hour prior to performances.
