Philadanco Dance Company Celebrates 50th Anniversary at Weis Center

The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO!) will leap onto the Weis Center’s stage on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. as part of their 50th Anniversary celebration.   The performance is sponsored, in part, by Evangelical Community Hospital and PPL Foundation.    A free pre-performance talk by two dancers from the ensemble will take place on the same day as the performance from 1-2 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium. Contemporary Dance Company to Grace Weis Center Stage on Sat., March 23 + Two Free Dance Classes

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company will perform four contemporary dance works on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. The performance is sponsored, in part, by Karl Voss and Chanin Wendling family. San Francisco-based Ballet Company Comes to Weis Center, Special Coupon Code for Local Youth Dancers

Alonzo King LINES Ballet will bring contemporary ballet to the stage on Thursday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. There will be a free pre-performance talk the same day as the performance at 1 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium Lobby. The discussion will be facilitated by Atiya Stokes-Brown.
