Panda’s Home, an interactive experience ideal for ages 4-7, comes to the Weis Center in three public performances, plus a sensory friendly performance

Panda’s Home, an enchanting and interactive performance that allows audience members to take a journey to ancient China, following the footprints left by a panda, will be presented by Italian-based company Compagnia TPO on Saturday, May 11 during three public performances: 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. This performance will take place on the Weis Center stage, therefore seating is limited to 100 patrons per performance. Nordic Folk Music Trio Comes to Weis Center

Dreamers’ Circus, a new driving force in Nordic music, will perform on Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Contemporary and endlessly innovative in their approach, the group draws inspiration from regional folk music traditions and reshapes them into something bright, shiny and new. Dreamersʼ Circus is comprised of Nikolaj Busk on piano and accordion, Ale Carr on Nordic cittern and Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen on violin. Reimagining of Peter Pan Coming to Weis Center in Two Performances

Underneath a Magical Moon, a reimagining of Peter Pan as told by Wendy Darling, will fly into Lewisburg on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Both performances are 60 minutes in length, without an intermission. The Family Discovery performance is suggested for grades K-5. Free kids’ activities from the Lewisburg Children’s Museum will take place in the Weis Center Atrium from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Activities will include: Floating in Neverland, Magical Mobiles, Dry Ice Fairy Bubbles and Pipe Cleaner Magic Wand. Performance Review: Aizuri Quartet- Intricate Machines

Aizuri Quartet: Intricate Machines performed in the Weis Atrium lobby last Sunday at 2 pm. The performance began with an introduction from two of the composers who chose the music for the program. Each piece of music is special in that they each inhabit a different musical space. Every song had its own unique, dimensional voice that intertwined with other songs, making each set unique and connected. The first song began soft, like a whisper, trickling across the notes. Lorelei Ensemble to perform with members of the Bucknell University Choirs at the Weis Center

Boston’s Lorelei Ensemble will join forces with members of the Bucknell University Choirs to present James Kallembach’s new oratorio Antigone: the Writings of Sophie Scholl on Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Beth Willer will serve as conductor for the performance. The performance is free and tickets are not required. In the first half of the Weis Center performance, Lorelei Ensemble will present choral works by John Luther Adams, Maggie Payne, David Lang and Pavel Chesnokov.
