Gravity and Other Myths Returns to Weis Center with Piece, Ten Thousand Hours, An Ode to the Countless Hours Needed to Achieve Great Things

The Weis Center will welcome contemporary cirque ensemble Gravity and Other Myths on Thursday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.  in the Weis Center Concert Hall. The performance is sponsored, in part, by Gary and Sandy Sojka. The performance is 60-minutes in length without an intermission and is suggested for ages 4+. Contemporary Cirque Ensemble to Present “Between Fall and Flight” at the Weis Center

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome contemporary cirque ensemble Machine de Cirque on Tuesday, October 8 at 7 p.m. at the Weis Center. Australian Contemporary Circus Company comes to Weis Center

Circa, a contemporary circus/cirque ensemble from Australia, will perform on Tuesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. The Family Discovery performance is suggested for ages 12 and older and has a run time of 85 minutes without an intermission. Since 2004, Circa has been at the frontier of a new vision of circus arts by creating powerful works that challenge, thrill and delight. Unique Ballet/Juggling Performance Coming to the Weis Center

In a unique contemporary cirque event that combines ballet and juggling, Gandini Juggling will present 4 x 4 Ephemeral Architectures on Thursday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. The Family Discovery performance is suggested for ages 8 and older and is 65 minutes without an intermission. It is sponsored, in part, by the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau and Geisinger.
