The 2019-20 season at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University includes 25 professional performances – including world music from Zimbabwe, Ghana, Hawaii, Ireland and Nova Scotia plus classical music, Americana music, modern dance from two acclaimed companies, folk dance, several styles of jazz, and five family-friendly performances. Reimagining of Peter Pan Coming to Weis Center in Two Performances
Underneath a Magical Moon, a reimagining of Peter Pan as told by Wendy Darling, will fly into Lewisburg on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Aizuri Quartet: Intricate Machines performed in the Weis Atrium lobby last Sunday at 2 pm. The performance began with an introduction from two of the composers who chose the music for the program. Each piece of music is special in that they each inhabit a different musical space. World Music from Mongolia Comes to Weis Center
World music from Mongolia will be presented on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts.
