Tuvan Throat Singing Comes to Downtown Lewisburg, Presented by the Weis Center

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will present Alash on Wednesday, February 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Campus Theatre in downtown Lewisburg. There will be a free lecture, Q&A and demonstration with the artists on Tuesday, February 7 from 3-4:20 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium, as part of Professor Mikkel Vad’s Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Music class. Free Weis Center Tickets for Bucknell Students during Spring Semester

In order to encourage Bucknell University student engagement, tickets to performances on the Weis Center’s Spring 2023 Season will be free of charge. By presenting their BUID at the Weis Center Campus Box Office counter, students can receive one free ticket to the performance. The box office is open from Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and one hour prior to performances.

Weis Center Kicks Off Spring Performance Season with Step Afrika

The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will present Step Afrika! on Friday, February 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center. The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome back the Soweto Gospel Choir on Thursday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center. The performance is sponsored, in part, by Coldwell Banker Penn One Real Estate, Martha and Alan Barrick, WNEP and the ArtsCONNECT program of the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation with support from the National Endowment for the Arts. The Weis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome Micaela Taylor and her Los Angeles-based contemporary dance ensemble, The TL Collective, on Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center.
