The Weis Center will welcome Balkan brass band Lemon Bucket Orkestra (LBO) on Thursday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Weis Center Concert Hall. This past Friday, the Weis Center kicked off its 35th season with an invigorating performance by global fusion brass band, Red Baraat. Red Baraat energized adults and kids alike on the plaza outside the Weis Center. The music and collaborative nature of the performers enlivened the audience and allowed them to participate in making music and dancing with the band. With their roots and education in jazz, this quartet is led by someone who grew up listening to AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
