Traditional Irish Music Comes to Weis Center in Free Performance

David Power, one of Ireland’s foremost uilleann pipers will join beloved New Jersey fiddler Willie Kelly to bring traditional Irish music to Central PA when they perform on Thursday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium. Weis Center to Offer Free Outdoor Concert to Kick-Off New Season

Banda Magda will perform their unique style of French pop, Latin and jazz music on Thursday, August 23 at 6 p.m. outside on the Weis Center Plaza to kick off the Weis Center’s new 2018-19 season. Jazz Saxophonist to give free concert at Weis Center

Jazz saxophonist Melissa Aldana will perform on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium Lobby. The performance is free and tickets are not required. Free Children’s Performance featuring Piano Music, Storytelling, Acting, Visual Arts and Poetry at Weis Center

Pianist Qing Jiang will present a free classical program called “Children’s Corner” on Saturday, January 27 at 2 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium Lobby. The performance is free and tickets are not required. The concert will feature piano music, storytelling, acting, visual arts, and poetry, in collaboration with Bucknell faculty and students, and Lewisburg High School students and the National Art Honor Society. Secret Agent 23 Skidoo Brings Kid Hip-Hop to Weis Center in Free Show

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo will bring their unique kid-friendly hip-hop to the Weis Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, December 5 at 7 p.m. The performance is free and tickets are not required. The Family Discovery performance is suggested for all ages and has a run time of 60 minutes, without an intermission. Weis Center’s New Season Features 35 Professional Performances
