Sweet Honey in the Rock will present a holiday a cappella performance, “Celebrating the Holydays” on Friday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. It is very rare to witness a multitude of moving artistic parts come together so ingeniously in the name of creating one body of work. Future of Hip Hop Music to Be Discussed at Weis Center in Free Panel Discussion, Live Performances
The future of hip hop music will be discussed by several emerging artists on Monday, November 13 at 7 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium Lobby. Hip Hop Happening is free and tickets are not required. We welcomed the first dance performance of our 30th anniversary season Thursday, October 12 with a dazzling production by the Alonzo King LINES Ballet company. The San Francisco contemporary ballet company boasts dancers that move with such fluidity across the stage that one number seamlessly blends into the next. Americana/Bluegrass Artist Tim O’Brien Comes to Weis Center
Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tim O’Brien and his Band will bring Americana/bluegrass music to the stage on Saturday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts.
